Born from a collaboration with Daredevil Pedals pedal builder Johnny Wator, this Wah combines the bright and aggressive tone of a Cry Baby, with a custom fuzz circuit that is particularly nasal. This fuzz wah is full of old school tones and enough power to blow up the whole room.

The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah fuses the sweet, expressive voice of a modified Cry Baby Wah with a custom fuzz circuit for a full palette of raw and aggressive tones.
The origins of this pedal lie in Daredevil owner and builder Johnny Wator’s love of classic vintage circuits and a desire to create bold new sounds.
Inspired by his personal wah-wielding guitar heroes, Johnny worked on the circuit for several years, setting them up for friends and bandmates, before pitching it to Dunlop to consider as a potential new addition to the range.
The Cry Baby Daredevil Fuzz Wah is the resulting collaboration, and in true Daredevil fashion, it’s simple and downright dirty.
The only external control is a robust switch to turn the fuzz on and off.
Removing the bottom plate reveals 2 additional controls:
- one to adjust the output of the pedal when the fuzz is engaged
- another to dial in your preferred level of fuzz nastiness.
For an instant lead tone, crank up both the output and gain, and you're ready to shred.
