The Marco Polo 'Travel' guitars are small in size, with a 610 mm tuning fork, so you can easily transport your instrument and enjoy comfortable playing wherever you go. The top is made from selected solid spruce, sourced directly from the Italian Alps. The back and sides are made from solid ovangkol to deliver rich, balanced and brilliant sounds with the combination of the top. The mahogany neck is topped by a 20-fret South American rupanà fingerboard for easy playing comfort, with a 43 mm wide bone nut. The rosette features an elegant and innovative design, with laser engraving of the word 'traveller' in different languages to convey the Travel guitar's invitation to travel! To enhance the acoustic design of the Marco Polo Travel, there's nothing better than an advanced, versatile Fishman preamplifier system to bring out the full richness of the carefully selected sound. The on-board Flex Blend system consists of a piezoelectric pick-up and an internal condenser microphone, which the electronics allow you to mix as you wish. Perfect for gradually 'blending' the internal microphone to suit your taste and configuration via the dedicated button. Press the button on the right and the built-in tuner will ensure you're always in tune. The system's settings include a general volume potentiometer, a button for mixing the internal microphone with the piezo signal, and an equalisation potentiometer for managing the mid-range frequencies for a sound that's more or less flat or deep in the midrange. Finally, pressing the left-hand potentiometer triggers a phase inverter to prevent feedback, perfect for all types of sound reinforcement.
