The Jet Guitars JS-400 HT Red leaves nothing to the imagination. A single ceramic humbucker, one volume control: the signal path is short, and the sound comes through dense and warm, with no superfluous potentiometers to sap the energy along the way.Under your fingers, the rosewood fingerboard makes all the difference. This dense, slightly porous wood absorbs sound differently to maple: it softens the touch in the first position, adds a slight roundness to the midrange, and holds up without drying out under the stage lights. The Modern C-profile neck, crafted from roasted Canadian maple, responds with firmness — all on a scale length of 647.7 mm that keeps the strings taut, bends true, and holds the note right to the end of the stroke.The 22 Medium Jumbo frets on a 241.3 mm radius are cut for aggressive playing: solos don’t sag, and vibratos hold their curve. The 41.9 mm nut width allows each string to breathe without unnecessarily stretching the spacing. The fixed bridge keeps the tuning stable over time — no wobble, no drift. The double-action truss rod, the bone nut — or polymer fibre nut depending on the 2025 model — and the chrome-plated tuning machines keep the whole instrument in top working order, session after session.
