This Electro-Voice EKX-18SP + Cover pack brings together a well-built active subwoofer and its padded protective cover, designed to handle live performances without bending the woofer. Beneath its sober, professional-looking 15 mm plywood shell, the EKX-18SP delivers 650 W RMS (1,300 W peak) via an 18-inch driver, with bass that hits right into the kneecaps. The crossover settings, LCD screen and XLR / ∅6.35 mm jack combo connection let you control the monster with precision. For support, there's a perfectly-fitted, padded nylon cover to prevent any nasty knocks during transport.
