The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 90 Black is a high-performance floorstanding speaker designed for audio professionals who want powerful, even and accurate sound. Advanced FIR (Finite Impulse Response) processing optimises phase alignment and ensures a linear frequency response, avoiding any distortion or colouration of the sound.

The real asset of this speaker is its 18-inch subwoofer. Designed with a 4-inch voice coil and laminar flow port, it offers accurate bass down to 28 Hz, generating deep, powerful and accurate bass. This subwoofer is specially designed to minimise turbulence and ensure a punchy soundstage even at high volumes. It is particularly suited to music requiring a marked presence of low frequencies, such as electro, hip-hop or club music.

EVOLVE 90 offers maximum connectivity with XLR/TRS combo inputs for microphones and lines, XLR/RCA stereo input, AES/EBU digital input/output and stereo Bluetooth. This diversity makes it easy to integrate into any configuration.

The speaker is also compatible with EV QuickSmart Mobile, Electro-Voice's official mobile application, which allows up to six speakers to be remotely controlled and monitored via Bluetooth. Using this intuitive app, it's possible to adjust EQ, gain levels, presets and crossover directly from a smartphone or tablet. QuickSmart Mobile also offers real-time indicators to monitor signal and limiter status, as well as alerts in the event of loss of connection or input saturation. This technology makes it easier to manage the audio system, allowing precise adjustments to be made without having to physically access the speakers.

With 2000 W of amplification, divided between 1000 W for bass and 1000 W for high frequencies, the EVOLVE 90 achieves an impressive maximum SPL of 134 dB.
