Electro-Voice - EVERSE 8 White

Born from the collaboration between Dynacord and Electro-Voice, EVERSE 8W is the first Bluetooth PA speaker with built-in mixer and effects, battery-powered and weatherproof, offered by E-V.

Allowing the simultaneous connection of a microphone, an instrument or an audio player, this all-in-one portable speaker has been designed to offer a professional PA solution, in a compact format, to musicians, DJs, fitness instructors and entertainers.

With a maximum sound pressure level of 121 dB and a wide homogeneous coverage of 100º x 100º in a compact format, the capabilities of EVERSE 8W set new standards in the market for portable PA speakers, with professional quality.

The EVERSE 8 White features an 8-inch woofer with EV’s patented SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) port, and a high-efficiency titanium tweeter mounted on a constant directivity waveguide.

EVERSE 8 White is powered by a custom-designed, high-capacity Li-ion battery that is fully optimized for audio use and provides up to 12 hours of battery life. Protection circuits reduce the risk of the battery discharging to a voltage so low that it can no longer be recharged – for example, after long periods of storage. Tool-free screws allow for effortless battery removal.

The built-in 12V DC port provides power from the EVERSE 8’s battery, perfect for powering a wireless microphone system such as the Electro-Voice RE3 or R300. A charging port is included for mobile devices if a recharge is required while streaming.

In combination with the rugged polypropylene housing, the use of the included weatherproof inlet cover allows EVERSE 8 to meet the IP43 standard (water resistance for splashes and light rain) when operating on battery power and during Bluetooth streaming.

Integrated feet with non-slip rubber pads ensure the system stays in place. Take EVERSE 8 outdoors for gigs, rehearsals, barbecues or anywhere else a PA is needed, regardless of the weather forecast.

The free downloadable EV QuickSmart Mobile app allows you to adjust all audio, effects and mixing functions via your smartphone or tablet. An intuitive user interface makes it easy to shape your sound to suit the space, so you can focus on the show.
