This Electro-Voice pack combines the EVERSE 8 White portable active speaker with the EVERSE8-TOTE carry bag. The idea is simple: to have a speaker that you can move around easily, set up wherever you need it and use on battery power, with a carry bag designed to accompany it on your travels. Whether for an event, a speech or a musical performance, this means you can keep your essential kit with you without having to carry a full sound system.
The EVERSE 8 W delivers 200 W and features a 2-way design with an 8-inch ferrite woofer and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. It offers a 100° horizontal and vertical dispersion angle, with a maximum sound pressure level of 121 dB SPL. The frequency response ranges from 65 Hz to 18 kHz at -3 dB, with a range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz at -10 dB, making it suitable for both music and speech.
Its battery operation offers real freedom of placement, with a claimed battery life of 6 to 12 hours. You can also power it via the mains at 100–240 V. For playing music, stereo Bluetooth means you don’t need to run a cable between your source and the speaker. TWS technology also allows you to pair two EVERSE 8 speakers via Bluetooth when you wish to set up a stereo setup.
The speaker also accommodates various sources via two XLR/TRS combo inputs, complemented by a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack input. A 6.35 mm jack footswitch input and a USB Type-C port round off the available connections. This means you can switch from playing music to using a microphone or another audio source without having to completely reconfigure your setup.
The EVERSE8-TOTE carry case is included for transporting and storing the speaker. Its reinforced, tear-resistant nylon is fitted with handles and a shoulder strap, making it easy to carry around. A side pocket allows you to keep your cables with the rest of your kit.

The speakers in the Electro-Voice EVERSE 8 W are driven by a Class D amplifier and a DSP module developed in collaboration with the electronics engineering team at Dynacord, EV’s sister brand. Professional features include a built-in four-channel digital mixer with studio-quality effects and processing, 48 V phantom power, feedback suppression and audio attenuation.
The white EVERSE 8 Bluetooth PA speaker can be mounted on a tripod for a longer reach; placed horizontally on the floor as a monitor using the 55° angle; or positioned on its right side at a 30° angle to project sound beyond the performance area. For stereo set-ups, the EVERSE 8 is equipped with a wireless Bluetooth stereo sound system.
