Electro-Voice's TX2181 subwoofer has a number of features that make it versatile for a wide range of professional sound reinforcement applications.
The TX2181 can move a large volume of air thanks to its two long-excursion 18" EVS-18S bass drivers coupled to a robust cabinet and featuring an innovative design.

The EVS-18S drivers are capable of handling very high power levels with maximum reliability, thanks to their 4-layer voice coils. The TX2181 is designed to work in bi-amplification with an external processor or with an amplifier with integrated processor.
The cabinet is constructed from a mix of plywood and MDF with an
EVCoat™ coating offering maximum protection while maintaining a low weight.
The uniquely designed grille is extremely impact resistant. The four handles make it easy to move the TX2181. The recessed input panel has two Neutrik NL4 sockets, with the connectors hidden and allowing the cabinet to be placed against a wall.
The TX2181 is the same width and height as the TX2152, giving the appearance of a column when stacked and facilitating storage and transport.
