Electro-Voice's TX2152 2-way passive loudspeaker uses the ND-2 high-efficiency neodymium compression driver, coupled to a waveguide with
60° x 40° constant directivity™ waveguide.
The horn tilts according to the speaker's orientation (60°x40* horizontal coverage or 40°x60° vertical coverage), with a sound pressure level of up to 139dB.
The two SMX2151 15" woofers integrated into the TX2152 PA speaker have been developed with FEA optimisation for the motor, suspension and electrical design to ensure very low distortion, high efficiency and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels.
The 4th order crossover uses very steep slopes of 36dB per octave with equalisation to give a harmonious rendering across the vocal frequency range, linear off-axis response and a protection circuit to ensure reliability and long term use.
