Guitar Strings

The 74 string of the Elixir 12062 Electric Nanoweb 8-string set remains legible even in a busy mix. It doesn't disappear under the double pedal. In low tapping, with this model the notes retain their contour. No need to cheat with the EQ. The mechanics hold their own, even after an angry death prog set.

When you jam the 8th string in drop E, the Nanoweb coating on Elixir 12062 Electric 8 strings Light 10-74 keeps its clarity and doesn't lose a hair of roughness. On a high-gain amp, it's still legible, but less brutal.

Strings 64 and 74 pull hard from the very first power chords. On a flat neck, the effort builds up quickly.

For extended voicings, it's fine up to string 4, but below that, the tension breaks the momentum a little.

On a multidiapason guitar, the balance holds as long as the scale remains reasonable. Otherwise, the mids float slightly.

The 30-42-54 range reacts well to compression. No great loss of relief, even under pressure.

This nickel-plated steel set remains stable, but not neutral. It has character, without overdoing it.
