The EMG 66 TW Long Axe Chrome pickup combines two very different characters in a single package. A push-pull switches you from an expressive double coil to a simple click. Each position reveals an original sound colour.
The magnet combines Alnico and ceramic for a rich texture. The humbucker mode pushes output up to 4.5 V. The single mode reaches 3 V in aggressive play, without any parasitic noise.
In the neck position, this device has a long 19 mm shaft. It can easily be fitted to guitars with thick tops, such as Les Pauls. The 52 mm Floyd spacing ensures perfect alignment.
All cables are included for a clean, solder-free installation. Battery life is up to 1500 hours on a single 9V battery. The chrome casing adds a sharp visual touch to the modern style.
