Presentation
The EMG 66 TW Brushed Black Chrome pickup switches between two worlds in a single movement. Thanks to its push-pull switch, you can switch from a single to a double. Each retains its own character, without compromise.
The Alnico/ceramic combination brings a wealth of textures. The midrange gains in relief, while the attack retains its cutting edge. The humbucker drops to 1.77 kHz, the single rises to 3.47 kHz.
Voltage remains solid: up to 4.5 V at scratch. Even when pushed, it remains discreet thanks to a noise level of -107 dB. Its 10 kΩ impedance supports long effect chains well.
The short shaft format fits into Strat-type bodies. All cables are included, as well as an EMG stereo jack. The Buss facilitates power management via 9V battery.
With its sleek design, this model adds visual character. It's a flexible tool for those who like to explore different approaches. Everything can be done without any major modifications to the instrument.
