Its strategic placement at the end of the chain before the jack output works wonders. It preserves the integrity of your tone while boosting it. For passive microphones, it's a revolution: the Afterburner lowers their output impedance, delivering greater clarity and definition.
The optional 18V power supply further increases gain and dynamic range. Mounting uses the proprietary 5-pin EMG connector for seamless integration. The kit includes everything you need: AB control, battery clip, output jack and interconnect cables.
