The EMG BTC system for active bass is an all-in-one preamp with balance, volume and 2-band EQ. Its concentric pot controls bass and treble with 12dB of boost or cut, perfect for fine-tuning your live sound. The dip-switch lets you choose between 4 treble response curves to suit your style.

Presentation
Designed for basses with active EMG pickups, the BTC system features a 2-band EQ, master volume and active balance. The bass/treble control is based on a concentric potentiometer, practical for saving space without losing precision.
Each band provides a boost or cut of around ±12dB, with a clearly defined neutral zone in the centre. The progressive behaviour of the curves makes the adjustments very natural to the ear.
Depending on your needs, you can choose from 4 different treble curves via an internal dip-switch. This little detail completely changes the way the treble reacts under the fingers.
The system operates on 9V, but accepts an 18V supply for improved headroom. With its factory-soldered EMG connectors, installation is quick, clean and reversible.
