Presentation
The EMG HAX is an active microphone in humbucker format that conceals a simple active coil inside. Its design is the same size as that of a humbucker, but produces a clean, detailed sound that is typical of simple coils.
Thanks to its Alnico magnets and a resonant frequency of around 4 kHz, it adds punch to funk rhythms, precision to pop chords and expressiveness to blues solos.
The built-in X preamp ensures a responsive feel, capturing all the nuances of playing, from the softest to the strongest. This pickup isn't aimed at the highly saturated sounds of metal, but rather a natural, detailed sound, ideal for those who want precision in their playing.
This model is compatible with all other EMG pickups, as well as a range of EMG accessories such as the EXG, SPC and RPC.
