Presentation
The Epiphone SG Standard, with its brilliant Pelham Blue look, is a real eye-catcher. With its slim, double-cut silhouette and nickel-plated fittings, it's a real eye-catcher. But behind the aesthetics lies a serious foundation: mahogany body, glued neck in Slim Medium C profile, laurel fingerboard with trapezoid markings. The result is a responsive guitar with a clean attack and more sustain than you might expect.
The Probucker pickup duo delivers with personality. The Probucker 3 on the bridge bites, while the Probucker 2 on the neck rounds out the sound. Plugged into a good amp, the SG reveals its full range: garage, blues rock, hard, it sticks to your fingers and radiates energy. The three-position selector and four CTS pots let you fine-tune the grain to suit your mood - or that of your audience.
No stone has been left unturned when it comes to hardware. Grover Rotomatic tuners for impeccable hold, LockTone + Stop Bar bridge for intonation and resonance. Cream bindings, 5-ply pickguard, clean finish: a guitar ready to play, delivered in a gig bag.
To make it roar, we've added the Marshall DSL5C. A 5-watt all-tube combo, it saturates cleanly even at low volume thanks to the 5W → 1W switch. Perfect for the home without sacrificing sound. With two ECC83 preamps and one ECC82 power amp, this little cube exudes Marshall character.
Two channels: Classic Gain for an edgy clean or velvety crunch, Ultra Gain for dirty leads and raging power chords. Each channel has its own volume and gain. Three-band EQ, Tone Shift to sculpt the midrange, subtle digital reverb: an expressive, lively sound.
Bonus features: Softube emulated line output (recording/headphones), mini-jack input for backing tracks, effects loop for pedals. Footswitch included for switching and activating reverb by foot. Compact but serious, with a 10" Celestion speaker, it's still transportable (12.7 kg).
The icing on the riff: a 3 m mono 6.35 mm jack cable completes the package. With its thick jacket and solid connectors, it can take a lot of repetition and still deliver a clean signal.
This bundle is aimed at players who don't want to fumble around. Local stages or home sessions: guitar + amp + cable, ready to sound just right. A powerful, coherent kit that never stays on the shelf long.
