Presentation
The principle behind Eve Audio's three-way systems is the use of an additional crossover frequency to ensure dynamic and detailed reproduction of all audio signals. Like the SC307, the SC305 has two identical woofers that share the work: one reproduces frequencies up to 350 Hz while the other goes up to 3 kHz.
Also used in the SC205, these are 5"" SiverCone loudspeakers. SiverCone drivers, whose glass-fibre honeycomb diaphragm is driven by a 1" voice coil. But with two woofers used simultaneously, frequency response is improved, down to 50 Hz. The Air Motion Transformer RS3 ribbon tweeter ensures flawless reproduction at the top end of the spectrum. Thanks to three 50-watt PWM amplifiers and an internal protection circuit, the SC305 can achieve sound pressure levels of 108 dB SPL (at 1 m). The DSP allows the SC305 to be easily placed in any room or studio, creating a perfectly symmetrical listening system: a simple DIP switch on the back of the speaker swaps the frequency bands covered by the woofers. Like all Eve Audio monitors, the SC305 has balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs.

Thanks to their compact dimensions and performance, the SC305s can be used to create professional stereo and surround systems. In the case of small surround systems, they can be used as the centre channel. The SC305 combines the power of three different amplifiers to deliver efficient, dynamic, low-noise sound. With its compact size and technical characteristics, the SC305 has virtually no competition on the market today. When designing bass-reflex air columns, Eve Audio sought to minimise the negative effects on bass distortion. Traditionally, as you turn up the volume, the efficiency of the vent decreases and distortion increases. Eve Audio has therefore opted for a wide, rectangular rear port, for greater efficiency at low frequencies. The result? High acoustic pressure with punchy, accurate bass, free from distortion.
