Presentation
The SC307 is suitable for medium to close proximity listening and surround installations, and can be used perfectly as a centre speaker. It combines the power of three different amplifications to deliver efficient, dynamic and low-noise sound. The principle behind Eve Audio's three-way systems is the use of an additional crossover frequency to ensure dynamic and detailed reproduction of all audio signals. Each channel has its own amplification. One of the woofers handles frequencies up to 300 Hz for the bass, while another woofer handles frequencies extending from the bass to the midrange, up to the crossover frequency of 3000 Hz. This design minimises interference between the channels and increases the precision and efficiency of the SC307 by reducing mechanical inertia through the division and frequency distribution of the woofers. SiverCone driver, like those used in the 2-way range. But with two woofers used simultaneously, frequency response is improved, down to 40 Hz.
The Air Motion Transformer RS2 ribbon tweeter ensures flawless reproduction of the upper end of the spectrum. Thanks to three 100-watt PWM amplifiers and an internal protection circuit, the SC305 can achieve sound pressure levels of 114 dB SPL (at 1 m). The DSP makes it easy to position the SC307 in any room or studio, creating a perfectly symmetrical listening system: a simple DIP switch on the back of the speaker swaps the frequency bands covered by the woofers. Like all Eve Audio monitors, the SC307s have balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs.

Each EVE Audio monitor is equipped with high-precision DSP electronics, making it easy to adjust the monitor's crossover sections, volume and phase to the conditions of use via a single LED rotary knob on the front panel. The DSP is based on a high-quality Burr-Brown A/D converter that delivers a flawless signal to the DSP section. And because the PWM amplification is directly connected to the DSP section, no additional conversion is required, ensuring reliability.
DSP adjustments and management are easy, without the need for additional tools. A circle of LEDs clearly indicates the status of adjustment settings. All volume and room adaptation settings can be locked using a DIP switch on the back of the monitor to prevent any operating errors.
