Dot9 UltraTap is the result of forty years of development, starting in 1981 with Eventide's Digiplex and MultiTap Delay algorithms for its legendary SP2016 effects processor, evolving into the UltraTap of the H3000 and culminating in the UltraTap, available as both a plugin and an H9 algorithm.
The new UltraTap pedal builds on this legendary effect with the ability to add as many virtual tape heads as you like, as well as the ability to expressly control head position and output level, enabling unprecedented new effects.

TAPS: select up to 64 taps to create simple repeats or morphing delays in chorus and reverb.

SLURM: an exclusive and innovative control that combines to create truly unique reverbs and choruses.

FEEDBACK: Unlocks other sound-shaping capabilities.

CHOP and SPD/RISE/REL: combine to allow unusual and expressive modulation of taps based on LFO shapes or the audio envelope.

SPREAD: controls the 'distance' between the taps. With the knob centred, the taps are equally spaced, rotate clockwise and the last taps are grouped together, counter-clockwise and the first taps are grouped together. Use this control to create the perfect rhythmic space between taps.
