The Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass Lake Placid Blue is a faithful reissue of a model that marked the evolution of the electric bass. Designed to recreate the experience of the instruments of the time, it combines an alder body with a high-gloss nitrocellulose finish and a maple U-profile neck typical of 1966. Its round laminated rosewood fingerboard, edged in white binding and with a radius of 7.25", houses 20 vintage tall frets and pearlescent markers, offering a fluid, authentic playing feel.
In terms of sound, this Jazz Bass is equipped with two Pure Vintage '66 Single-Coil pickups, in neck and bridge positions. This configuration allows you to mix or isolate the pickups thanks to two independent volume controls, complemented by a master tone.
