On n'a pas le son classiques des Telecaster avec la Jim Adkins, mpas le twang habituel, mais un son riche, dense sans le côté compressé des humbuckers. Ça sonne rock et hard dans le style ACDC, mais en clair, le son est aussi très sympa. Le P90 en position chevalet est une vraie réussite, avec un son clair, sans les aigus agressifs, mais avec un son méchant, et bien mordant.
Les frettes sont bien polies, le vernis est bien appliqué. Seul petit bémol chez moi: les potards, pas tous à la même hauteur, mais ça ne me gêne pas du tout.
Avant, j'avais une Gibson que j'ai revendue. Il n'y a pas photo : la Fender est bien mieux finie, le manche est nettement plus qualitatif, elle tient l'accord, et on se rapproche beaucoup du gros son Gibson, avec des basses moins envahissantes et tout autant de présence.
