Jim Root, guitarist for Slipknot, Stone Sour and shred enthusiast, collaborated with Fender to create a signature Stratocaster guitar with a huge tone, perfectly suited to his playing. The Jim Root Stratocaster features a compound radius neck (12 -16 inch) with no markings on the fingerboard, active EMG pickups, black buttons, jumbo frets and a satin lacquer finish.
