Presentation
Compact and easy to carry, the FiiO KA15 Blue transforms a smartphone, tablet or computer into a high-resolution-compatible audio source. Its symmetrical architecture combines two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs with dual SGM8262 amplification to ensure playback of PCM files up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD256.
The balanced 4.4 mm headphone jack and 3.5 mm mini-jack outputs allow you to connect various models of headphones or earphones, whilst the latter can also be configured as an SPDIF output to feed an external DAC.
Desktop mode increases the available power to meet the requirements of compatible headphones. Its LCD screen displays key operating information, supplemented by physical controls for direct access to settings.
The Android app and web interface provide access to seven DSP filters, a 10-band equaliser, and controls for gain, balance and sound processing. Weighing just 21 g, it is easy to carry around on a daily basis.
