Designed for use on a desk or in a living room, the FiiO SA1 Black combines features suited to both analogue and digital sources in a pair of compact active speakers. Their 50 W Class D amplifier drives a 90 mm wood-fibre mid-bass driver and a 19 mm aluminium-magnesium alloy tweeter to deliver a frequency response ranging from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.
Bluetooth 5.4 compatibility with SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs facilitates wireless streaming, whilst the 32-bit / 96 kHz USB DAC allows direct connection to a computer. The RCA input (switchable between line and phono), optical, coaxial and auxiliary inputs, as well as the subwoofer output, offer a wide range of connection options.
The FiiO Control app provides access to a 31-band equaliser and eight DSP presets, complementing the controls offered by the supplied infrared remote control.
