Its design features a solid curly maple top, stained a deep blue that reveals the wood’s natural grain, paired with a solid mango back and sides. This combination produces a very interesting tonal balance: the maple ensures clear, crisp and well-defined notes in the upper register, whilst the mango wood provides a warm roundness and generous sustain, ideal for bringing depth to your improvisations.

For playing comfort, this instrument features several Blackwood components. An armrest chamfer softens the upper edge of the body to prevent forearm fatigue during extended sessions, whilst a bevelled cutaway allows easy access to the highest frets of the rosewood fingerboard without any loss of volume. A small additional opening is carved into the top. This acoustic vent acts as a direct monitor for the musician, allowing every nuance and dynamic of the playing to be heard with excellent precision.

The African mahogany neck offers a stable grip, supported by genuine bone nut and a rosewood peg bridge that maintains balanced string tension.
