Flight - DUBS Electro-Acoustic Bass + Housse

Imagine yourself in the middle of a rehearsal with your pop band or amongst a group of ukulele players, ready to lay down some nice, round bass lines without being weighed down by a huge instrument.

The Flight DUBS Electro-Acoustic Bass is tuned exactly like a traditional bass (E-A-D-G), but is half the size. It’s the ideal companion for switching effortlessly from your sofa to the stage, or for laying down a heavy rhythm track anywhere.

Its body is crafted from laminated mahogany, offering a warm tone that gains depth over time. The okoumé neck conceals a major advantage for such a small instrument: a built-in adjustable truss rod, essential for keeping the neck perfectly straight throughout the seasons.

The walnut fingerboard and bridge are fitted with Aquila Thundergut strings, which have a unique rubbery feel, perfect for achieving that heavy, springy and very organic sound characteristic of uke-basses. Great attention has been paid to the details, with genuine bone nuts for optimal vibration transmission and a discreet laser-engraved rosette.

To plug into a power amp or mixing desk, the Flight FU-T3 preamp is up to the task, featuring a built-in equaliser and a handy backlit tuner so you’ll never have to hunt for it before playing again. It comes with a lightweight padded gig bag so you can take it anywhere, as well as a pack of stickers.
