Presentation
The Focusrite ISA428 MkII preamp offers the same features as the original model, plus updated A/D converters and a new power control mode that improves internal noise levels.
All the original circuits have been retained, but the control and monitoring interface has been updated with 6-segment LEDs. This new version also eliminates the “soft” limitation function.

The ISA 428 MKII is a quadruple microphone preamp and constitutes the ideal solution for those wishing to make recordings without compromise: 4 high quality independent channels, pure classic Focusrite juice, with 4 instrument inputs on the front panel - no DI box necessary.
Like all preamps in the ISA series, the ISA 428 MKII uses LL1538 Lundahl transformers and Zobel circuitry which provide wide bandwidth and silky sound reproduction. A variable impedance selection circuit has been added, allowing the user to switch between 4 carefully chosen impedance settings. In addition to the impedance of the ISA110, 3 other parameters allow you to adapt or not the input impedance of the preamp with any microphone on each of the 4 inputs of the ISA 428 MKII. Additionally, each channel also benefits from an insert point which allows additional processing to be placed between the preamp/DI and the output. A significant gain in flexibility which allows the addition of EQ, compressors/gates or limit limits.
An optional 8-channel 122 db dynamic page conversion card can be associated with this preamp, thus collecting the 4 channels of the 428 MKII and 4 other external signals...the dream for modern digital audio configurations.
