The third-generation Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface features two new Scarlett mic preamps with switchable 48V phantom power, input pads, and selectable air paths derived from Focusrite's legendary ISA preamp.
Its 24-bit/192 kHz converters ensure signals are captured and reproduced with precision and clarity. With four balanced line outputs, two stereo headphone outputs, and independent headphone and speaker volume controls, the Scarlett 8i6 can simultaneously power multiple monitoring systems and external effects processors.
The Shure SM7B is a large-capsule dynamic microphone with a smooth, flat, and broadband frequency response that enhances the midrange and high frequencies associated with the human voice.
This is why the SM7B performs particularly well on spoken and vocal vocals in many professional audio applications.
