The Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 3rd Gen is a compact and powerful USB Type-C audio interface with 8 inputs/6 outputs, 24-bit/192kHz resolution. Among the changes made, this latest generation offers two high-end Scarlett mic preamps from the ISA series, switchable Air mode, 4 Line inputs/outputs, MIDI and SPDIF I/O and a 12V power supply. The external sound card comes with Ableton Live Lite and a suite of Mac and PC compatible plug-ins. The Scarlett 8i6 is ideal for multi-instrumentalists and music producers.

Presentation
The third generation Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 interface features two new Scarlett mic preamps with XLR/6.35mm combo inputs and switchable 48V phantom power, input pads and the Air option based on Focusrite's legendary ISA preamp. This gives vocals and instruments a clear, crisp sound.
The Scarlett 8i6 audio interface offers the option of connecting microphones, or guitars, basses, synths or drum machines to its two combo inputs. In addition, four additional 6.35mm jack inputs are available on the rear panel of the sound card, to accommodate more line-level sources.
The Scarlett 8i6 G3's impressive 24-bit / 192kHz converters ensure that signals are captured and reproduced with precision and clarity. With 4 balanced line outputs, two stereo headphone outputs and independent control of headphone settings and speaker volume, the Scarlett 8i6 can simultaneously power multiple external monitoring systems and effects processors. S/PDIF and MIDI inputs and outputs are also available on the rear panel.
As one of the best portable audio interfaces, the Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 G3 lets you know when you have a suitable signal level for recording, thanks to innovative indicators. If the halo is red, your signal is clipping, and you should reduce your gain. The halo will momentarily turn amber when the level returns to normal, then green.

Très belle affaire en cette fin d’année 8 entrées et 6 sorties avec la qualité Foscurite pour moins de 200€. Je ne pouvais pas espérer mieux. L’offre logicielle / PlugIn est top. Je n’ai pas eu le temps de l’essayer mais c’est prometteur.
