Presentation
G&L's L-2500 Series 750 CLF Research Old School Tobacco is a 5-string bass that combines vintage elegance with modern innovation. With its Old School Tobacco Sunburst finish on an okoume body and Caribbean rosewood fingerboard, it's a real eye-catcher on stage.
This model is distinguished by its 19 mm string spacing at the bridge, providing optimum playing comfort for bassists used to 4-string guitars. The Wide-5 Saddle Lock bridge, designed by Leo Fender, ensures optimum vibration transmission for exceptional resonance and sustain.
Equipped with two powerful Magnetic Field Design (MFD) humbuckers, this bass delivers deep lows and clear highs. The Tri-Tone electronic system offers a wide sound palette, with mini-switches for pickup selection, active/passive mode and serial/parallel cabling, as well as volume, bass and treble controls.
The slim-profile 'Slim C' maple neck, reinforced by two graphite bars and a double-action adjusting rod, guarantees stability and comfort. Aesthetic details such as the '80s CLF headstock and machined aluminium buttons add an irresistible retro touch.
