Godin - RG-4 Swamp Ash + Housse

The Godin RG-4 Swamp Ash bass showcases the expertise of Atelier Godin in Richmond, Quebec. Made in Canada, it has been designed to offer an excellent balance between comfort, resonance and versatility. Its body combines a red cedar back with a carved swamp ash top. This construction contributes to the instrument's sonic character while keeping its weight to a minimum.

One of its special features is the presence of 5 tuned and interconnected resonance chambers inside the body. This design adds depth and sustain to the notes. The bass remains pleasant to play during long rehearsals or concerts. The rounded contours of the body also contribute to overall comfort.

The maple neck is combined with a maple fingerboard with a 12" radius. The 34" pitch delivers the feel you'd expect from a modern bass. The Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pound PJ pickups combine a Precision Bass pickup on the neck and a Jazz Bass pickup on the bridge.
