This Jet Club from the Streamliner series was designed with one key word in mind: efficiency.
The body of this Single Cut is made of nato, a cousin of mahogany delivering a warm sound and a nice presence in the mediums. The neck, also in nato, is screwed through the body and supports a 22-fret laurel fingerboard for a round attack and great playing comfort (thank you to the Soft "C" profile).
Efficiency always, within the electronics of the instrument which uses a pair of Gretsch Twin Six double-coil microphones delivering a round sound, full of power and just waiting for your most massive riffs. The latter being controlled by a Master Volume, a Master Tone and a 3-position selector.
Even at the bridge, Gretsch luthiers have aimed for maximum efficiency with an adjustable Wraparound model anchored in the table for maximum sustain.
Despite its Mint Metallic color, a testament to the brand's respect for its 50s/60s models, it has what it takes and is just waiting to roar.
