second generation of the Decimator. Its performance has been improved, and two new patents have even been filed for these new innovations. It features improvements in expander tracking with the new Linearized Time Vector Processing. This new technology provides a more linear constant release time response. While the expander exponentially increases expansion and dynamically changes its response to match the input signal envelope, the release response remains linear over a given time period. This increases the smoothness of the expander's release response and provides the most transparent response of any noise gate available, virtually eliminating any release ripple for an incredibly smooth decay of more sustained notes.
