Electric Guitar Effects
ISP Technologies' Decimator X G String incorporates adaptive technology with variable release time, guaranteeing smooth transitions between staccato playing and held notes without modulation or pumping. It follows the guitar signal directly and offers dedicated links for dual-channel or stereo configurations, maintaining exemplary transparency from clean to high-gain without having to readjust the threshold. With noise reduction in excess of 60dB, a dynamic range in excess of 100dB and total harmonic distortion of 0.05%, it effectively cleans the signal while preserving timbre and dynamics.

Presentation
ISP Technologies' Decimator X G-String is a noise-gate/noise-reduction pedal designed for demanding guitarists, both in the studio and on stage. It's based on patented "Decimator X" technology: adaptive signal processing capable of following the guitar directly, ideal for switching from clean to high gain without changing the threshold.
Its operation is limited to a single setting, Threshold, plus a footswitch on/off and activity LED, for quick and easy use. On the input/output side, you'll find the classic connections: Guitar IN/OUT (¼" jack) and, for advanced configurations, DEC IN/OUT (6.3 mm jack) for effects loops or preamp inserts, plus Link IN/OUT (1/8" mini-jack) for daisy-chaining two units in dual-channel or stereo configuration.
On the technical side, the input impedance is high (~500 kΩ), and the maximum input level is +12 dBu, compatible with most guitars. Power supply is 9 V DC (negative centre), consumption 35 mA.
The Decimator X G-String stands out for its ability to eliminate parasitic noise, hum or hiss, while preserving the dynamics and integrity of the signal. Thanks to its adaptive algorithm, fast staccato notes as well as long sustained notes retain their naturalness without unsightly artefacts on release.
In short, for a pro looking to clean up his signal before an amp or effects loop, while maintaining transparency, precision and playability, this pedal offers a rare balance between technical performance and ease of use.
