Presentation
When the Large Mouse plug-in is installed, the Asabi transforms from a refined, high-gain machine into a snarling beast!
Push the GAIN control and it unleashes the spitting distortion that defined the punk rock era!
It has 4 different clipping diode presets which themselves radically alter the sound and feel of the way the distortion clips.
To select a clipping preset, hold down the DIST footswitch for more than a second and the clipping program mode becomes active.
In this mode, the DIST LED will flash to indicate that you are in programming mode.
A quick press of the DIST footswitch will scroll through the clip presets and you can hear the presets change as you scroll through them, assuming the control circuit was active when the clip program mode was entered.
Once you have arrived at a distortion preset you wish to use, hold down the DIST footswitch for more than a second and the clip program mode will exit.

1 - AMBER: Turbo Large Mouse. Two LEDs are used to symmetrically clip the upper and lower parts of your guitar's waveform. The LEDs allow a MUCH higher headroom so that your sound remains more open and less compressed, a bit like a vintage Marshall. This setting is perfect for punk rock!

2 - GREEN: Standard Large Mouse. Two symmetrical silicon diodes give the classic drive and compression that the original is known for.

3 - BLUE: Asymmetrical high gain. Three asymmetrical diodes (two silicon and one LED) will clip the upper and lower parts of your guitar's waveform differently, resulting in a more complex and interesting sound. This sounds great when laying down aggressive rhythm parts!

4 - MAGENTA: Symmetrical high gain. Four symmetrical silicon diodes will evenly cut the upper and lower parts of your guitar's waveform, resulting in a more focused and direct sound.

Installing the Large Mouse is simple:
1) - Remove the rear panel of the pedal using a Phillips screwdriver.
2) - Lift up the sides of the currently installed plug-in until it pops out.
3) - Take the new plug-in and align the pins in the sockets and press gently.
(The plug-in is constructed so that it cannot be installed upside down)
4) - Reinstall the rear panel of the pedal.
5) - Play
