The Jackson Limited Edition Legend Series Signature David Ellefson CB V Concert Bass incorporates the features associated with David Ellefson’s model. Its graphite-reinforced maple through-neck, EMG 40DC and 40CS pickups, and active 3-band electronics offer a wide range of adjustment options. The ebony fingerboard, the Jackson HiMass bridge and the Hipshot tuning machines round off its 5-string design.
Presentation
The alder body is complemented by a three-piece maple through-neck reinforced with graphite rods. This construction is paired with an ebony fingerboard featuring a compound radius of 12" to 16" and 22 jumbo frets. Luminlay side markers aid visual orientation, whilst the shark-fin-shaped perloid inlays emphasise its distinctive character.
The electronics consist of two EMG pickups: an EMG 40DC at the bridge and an EMG 40CS at the neck. The master volume control, blend control and active 3-band EQ allow the bassist to easily adjust the balance and tonal response to suit their needs.
The 5-string Jackson HiMass bridge is paired with Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines. Finally, this bass comes with a Jackson DE CB Foam Core Case included, designed for transporting and protecting the instrument.
