The sound of the Jet Guitars JS 300 Sunburst LH makes an immediate impression from the very first chord, with a deep, woody resonance typical of large-body solid-body guitars. The instrument is built around a body of torrefied poplar — comprising the top, sides and back — a heat treatment that stabilises the wood whilst releasing rich harmonics. The torrefied Canadian maple neck, shaped to a Modern C profile, moulds to the hand to reduce fatigue during extended playing sessions. On the torrefied maple fingerboard, the 241.3 mm radius and 647.7 mm scale length provide balanced string tension, making it easier to achieve accurate bends across the 22 frets. At the headstock, the bone and polymer fibre nut improves vibration transmission to the headstock, whilst the dual-action truss rod ensures absolutely stable neck action in the face of climatic variations.

The tonal palette centres on an SSS configuration with ceramic pickups – a trio that delivers that characteristic crisp, bright and cutting sound, which can be shaped via the 5-position selector switch, the volume control and the two tone controls. The hardware features robust chrome tuning machines and a tremolo-style vibrato bridge that allows for note bending without detuning the instrument.
