Presentation
The Klotz LAE02FM is a 2-channel AES/EBU loom designed for digital links between consoles, processors and stage peripherals. Neutrik 3-pin XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts guarantee stable contact resistance over repeated connection cycles - the silver maintains its conductivity without apparent oxidation where bare brass would degrade. The metal shell with plastic sleeve protects the junction without weighing down handling.
The OmniWIRE OW15Y 0.15 mm² cable with tinned copper spiral shielded pairs provides the electromagnetic isolation needed to carry the AES/EBU signal. The ultra-flexible construction withstands tight cable runs and frequent windings without causing conductor fatigue. The 70 mm transparent heat-shrink tubing secures the cable-connector junction against accidental traction.
The 300 mm fanout in self-extinguishing reinforced braided sheath withstands a temperature range of -70 °C to +150 °C - suitable for environments close to heat sources in dense racks. The LAE02FM carries both analogue and digital AES/EBU signals, covering mixed control room configurations without changing cabling.
