Rme - AO25 8XPRO 3m
The RME AO25 8XPRO 3m is a multi-pair cable used to carry eight analogue audio signals via a single D-Sub 25 connection, splitting into eight male XLR connectors at the other end. It is particularly suitable for connecting an audio interface, a converter or studio equipment with a D-Sub 25 connection to a mixing desk, a patch panel or multiple XLR audio inputs.
Presentation
This configuration is particularly well-suited to set-ups using D-Sub 25 multi-channel connections and XLR links. It is ideal for use with an audio interface, a converter, a mixing desk or in a control room where several channels need to be connected simultaneously. Grouping the eight connections together avoids the need to run so many separate cables over the entire distance between the devices.
At 3 metres, the RME AO25 8XPRO 3m offers a length suitable for set-ups where the equipment is relatively close together, whilst still allowing sufficient freedom to route the cable through a rack or cabinet. The eight male XLR connectors are grouped at the cable exit and allow the different channels to be routed individually.
The labelling of the connectors makes it easy to identify the channels during installation and operation. This arrangement is particularly useful when several audio multipairs are used in the same installation or when connections need to be changed regularly.
