Rme - AI25 8TPRO 2m
The RME AI25 8TPRO 2m multi-pair cable combines eight analogue audio connections in a single cable, featuring a male D-Sub 25 connector on one end and eight TRS jacks on the other. This configuration allows you to quickly connect an audio interface, a converter, a mixing desk or any other equipment with a D-Sub 25 connection to several balanced jack inputs or outputs, whilst ensuring neat and easily identifiable cabling thanks to the individual labelling of the connectors.
Presentation
The AI25-8TPro2 model is 2 metres long, suitable for connections between equipment located close together in a rack, a studio or a control room. The male D-Sub 25 acts as the multi-channel connection point, whilst the eight TRS outputs allow the individual channels to be routed separately to a mixing desk, patch panel, interface or other compatible audio device.
Each TRS connector on the cable is numbered to make it easier to identify the different channels during installation and operation. This numbering is particularly useful in set-ups involving multiple parallel analogue connections, where quick identification of the channels helps to minimise connection errors.
The cable is part of RME’s ALVA Analog Multicore range, designed for multi-channel analogue audio connections. Its construction brings the various conductors together within a single black sheath 14 mm in diameter, which facilitates the routing and organisation of the cabling whilst preventing the eight separate wires from becoming tangled.
