Klotz - Loom 2 canaux numériques AES 5 m

The Klotz LAE02FM 5 m can be installed wherever space is at a premium and cables no longer move: between two pieces of rack equipment, between a processor and a control console. The Neutrik 3-pin XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts hold permanent connections without degradation - silver resists oxidation where bare brass eventually becomes resistant. The metal shell with plastic sleeve withstands handling without weakening the junction.
Beneath the flexible black PVC sheath, the OmniWIRE OW15Y cable in tinned copper spiral shielded pairs, cross-section 0.15 mm², isolates each channel from the electromagnetic fields generated by neighbouring rack power supplies. Ultra-flexible, it accepts short bending radii without straining the conductors. The 70 mm transparent heat-shrink tubing mechanically locks the cable-connector junction.
The 300 mm fanout in self-extinguishing reinforced braided sheath can withstand the -70 °C / +150 °C range - useful in closed racks with high heat dissipation. Over a length of 5 metres, the LAE02FM carries both analogue and digital AES/EBU signals, simplifying the wiring of mixed configurations without multiplying the number of references.
