Electric Guitar Effects

The Sunday Driver is a compact, high-quality preamp and DI box. Its circuitry is based on a discrete Class A input stage with JFET technology. Even with its +18dB boost, the signal always remains clean and absolutely free of background noise, thanks to its overall dynamic range of 130dB. To make the most of the dynamics of tube amps, the input voltage is rectified, filtered, stabilised and converted to 30 V.

Whether as a DI for stadium concerts, in complex effects configurations or as a recording preamp, with its wide frequency response, the Sunday Driver II can be used anywhere.
And not just on Sundays.

It has two modes of operation:

- Mode D stands for Driver, and it amplifies the guitar signal in a totally neutral way. This ensures a powerful, clear signal with unchanged dynamics, but also prevents any loss of sound caused by cables and effects in the signal flow.

- The mode, S for Sunday, multiplies the input impedance by five, revealing previously inaudible sonic detail. As the gain increases, the sound of the guitar takes on a characteristic warmth and personality from which the preamp takes its name, a sound as pleasant as the tranquillity of a Sunday afternoon.
