Martin Guitars - Custom Shop 0-28

The Vintage Gloss finish and the Aging Toner Natural colour of the Martin & Co. Custom Shop 0-28 are reminiscent of workshop guitars from the 1940s. The grained ivory binding highlights the Adirondack spruce top, whilst the East Indian rosewood back and sides lend the 0-14 Fret body a darker hue. The faux tortoiseshell pickguard and Style 28 Multi-Stripe rosette add a graphic touch without weighing down the silhouette.

Beneath the varnish, the solid mahogany neck features a GE Modified Low Oval profile that moulds to the palm without tiring the wrist. The ebony fingerboard, with diamond and long square abalone inlays, remains clearly visible both on stage and in the studio. The GE Modern Belly ebony bridge with an inset saddle transmits the vibrations of the strings to a GE-Scalloped Adirondack spruce X-Brace. The 632.46 mm scale length and 44.45 mm bone nut ensure balanced tension under the fingers.

The Nickel Open Gear tuners with Butterbean knobs sit on a solid headstock with a square and diamond profile, adorned with the Authentic Style Script Overlay logo. The Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 Phosphor Bronze Light strings deliver a round tone, calibrated for fingerstyle and vocal accompaniment. Assembled in the United States and supplied in a hard case, this 0-28 joins the Custom Shop range with its own distinct identity.
