Martin & Co's D-10E Retro is an electro-acoustic dreadnought guitar that combines power and balance, thanks to its solid spruce top and sapele back and sides. Presentation
The Martin & Co D-10E Retro + case tells the story of a dreadnought designed to play, create and amplify with simplicity and consistency. Part of the Road Series, this electro-acoustic guitar has a D-14 Fret shape that balances generous projection with a controlled musical response, whatever your technique.
Its solid spruce top, combined with solid sapele back and sides, produces a rich, balanced voice: the assertive basses are clear, the mids defined and the highs present without aggression, making it a reliable instrument for pure acoustic or amplified playing.
The Scalloped X-Bracing bracing supports these dynamics, while the high-performance tapered PA neck facilitates playability, making chord transitions and melodic patterns more natural. The ebony fingerboard with Style 28 inlays provides a comfortable, responsive surface under the fingers, with a nut width of 1 3/4" suitable for a wide range of playing styles.
On the amplification side, the Martin E1 system easily integrates volume, tone, phase and tuner, allowing you to adjust your sound as soon as you plug in. Finally, the included semi-rigid case makes it easy to transport and protects the instrument in everyday use. The whole package offers a coherent musical experience, suited to musicians who want a versatile dreadnought ready to respond to any idea.
