The Super D-18 from Martin & Co is a bold evolution of the legendary Dreadnought Style 18. Its Super D format, with 20% more internal air volume than a traditional dreadnought, enriches the sound palette with deep bass, increased projection and wider dynamics. This design retains the iconic silhouette while adding a new sonic dimension.
The solid mahogany body provides warmth and a clean attack, while the solid spruce top ensures clarity and definition. The Golden Era scalloped X-bracing, offset forward, ensures immediate response and balanced power on every note. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add precision and stability, while the Old Style 18 inlays and black binding maintain a classic style.
