Martinez - Standard 3/4 MC-20S Junior RN

The Martinez Standard 3/4 MC-20S Junior RN is a classical guitar designed to support young learners from their very first chords. Its 3/4 size and 580 mm (22.83-inch) scale length mean the frets are closer together, helping little hands find the notes without having to stretch their fingers too far.

The spruce top gives the notes a clear attack right from the very first scales. The mahogany back and sides add warmth to the lower registers, a tone that is particularly suited to slow arpeggios and the first pieces learnt in lessons.

The 52 mm (2.05-inch) nut leaves space between the strings, preventing one note from muffling a neighbouring one. The gloss finish on this Standard series acoustic classical guitar can be quickly cleaned with a quick wipe of a cloth.

Martinez was founded in Germany in 1978 under the leadership of Wolfgang Jellinghaus, and the American luthier Kenny Hill joined the project in 2005. The brand subsequently expanded its production to China, combining Spanish luthiery methods with modern machinery.

This Martinez Standard 3/4 MC-20S Junior RN is ideal for Wednesday lessons and small end-of-year recitals. Martinez offers a range from first guitars to concert models, and the 3/4 size provides a good foundation for the next step. A short, regular session is better than one long one, and a guitar of the right size makes you want to play again.
