MuxLab - 500413 HDMI 8x8 Matrix Switch HDBT 4K/60

When your screens and sources are separated by dozens of metres of corridor or plenum, a standard HDMI matrix shows its limitations. MuxLab's HDMI 8x8 HDBT matrix provides the solution: it transforms eight source signals into eight HDBT streams. It's a technology designed to travel a long way on a network cable. You get 40 metres of cable in 4K, and up to 70 metres in 1080p.

That's the difference between a local system and an institutional infrastructure. Each HDBT output carries the video signal, multi-channel audio and even receives power via the same Cat (PoH) cable. Installation is radically simplified: there's no need to lug a power outlet to every display point, and cabling becomes flexible, standard and much cheaper than long-distance HDMI.

The matrix preserves the integrity of the source signal with 4K resolution at 60 frames per second and HDCP 2.2 support. Advanced EDID management and the integrated infrared matrix ensure that each source and display communicate smoothly, even in complex set-ups with different brands of equipment.

Take control the way you want it. The intuitive web interface gives you full access from any browser. For integration into a global control system, RS232 and TCP/IP ports are available. You can even perform firmware updates via the USB port, a detail that extends the technical life of the device.

This matrix is clearly aimed at system integrators, luxury hotels, corporate training rooms or event venues that require extensive centralised AV distribution.
