MuxLab - 500755 AUDIO / RS232 over IP PoE Transceiver

If you need to send an audio signal or RS232 command to another room, no more dedicated cables. The MuxLab 500755 transceiver uses your existing Ethernet network as a highway for your critical streams. Plug it in, and your 2-way audio and control data is extended over 100 metres.

Power comes through the network cable, thanks to PoE. No need for a bulky mains power supply at the point of reception. This saves a phenomenal amount of installation time and cleanliness, especially in false ceilings or technical cabinets where space is at a premium.

The magic works point-to-point, but also multipoint. You can connect several units on the same network to create a complex distribution system. A digital audio output is there for more advanced systems. And it even handles Motion JPEG, making it an asset for certain low-speed video surveillance systems.
