Neumann - M 50 V Set
Neumann M 50 V Set, a modern reissue of the legendary tube microphone, designed to capture Decca Tree orchestras, ensembles and configurations with exceptional precision. Its unique omnidirectional capsule and traditional tube circuit provide a natural sound image and outstanding transient response.
Presentation
The complete set includes the iconic yoke mount with mechanical decoupling to minimise structure-borne noise, a long-range XLR cable (approx. 10 m) with RF-proof connector to reduce interference, and a high-end case that is also hand-crafted, providing a ready-to-use solution for demanding recordings. Matching is included when ordering two or more microphones, which is particularly useful for Decca Tree configurations or other multi-microphone arrangements.
Beyond classical music, the M 50 V is also suitable for other applications such as piano recording, string sections, drums as an ambient mic, and even pop or jazz ensembles, thanks to its balanced omnidirectional response and smooth high-frequency rise that gives body and presence without artificial coloration.
