The Patina PS-3 FRD Fiesta Red captures all the charm of classic 3-single-coil guitars, with a design tailored to today’s guitarists. Its Fiesta Red finish, coated in nitrocellulose lacquer, immediately catches the eye and will naturally develop character over the years. Its paulownia body makes it light and comfortable to play, even during long rehearsals. The roasted maple neck with a satin finish feels very natural from the moment you pick it up. Its Modern C profile is equally suited to chords and fast solos. The rosewood fingerboard provides a warm feel, whilst the 22 stainless steel jumbo frets offer excellent precision and are remarkably resistant to wear and tear.

The three hand-wound Alnico V single-coil pickups deliver everything you’d expect from an SSS configuration. Clean tones remain bright and detailed, the middle positions provide that much-loved ‘hollow’ character, and a touch of overdrive retains plenty of definition. With the pickup selector switch and the two tone controls, it’s easy to find the right tone for every song without spending hours searching.

The vibrato returns reliably to its resting position thanks to the locking tuners, which contribute to excellent tuning stability. The luminescent side inlays make it easier to find your way around when the lighting is dim on stage.
